Janice Dulak opened her first studio in Columbia, MO in 1993. Upon moving to Champaign, IL, Janice opened The Pilates Center LLC in October 2003. The Pilates Center LLC is dedicated to the original teachings of Joseph H. Pilates.

As a testament to the commitment to these original teachings, Romana Kryzanowska, heir to the Pilates method, visits the studio yearly for continuing education. The studio is fully equipped with original Pilates apparatus made by Gratz Industries, who specially manufactured equipment for Joseph Pilates.

The Pilates Center offers five certified instructors besides Janice and is bustling with apprentices and teachers from all over the world who come to study with Janice.
